Client Support Administration Front Office Team Lead/Team Manager to support the IT Services organization on the JRDC program. This Position will be staffed in Huntsville, AL and will support the MDA Enterprise regions in VA, AL, and CO. Responsible for managing the day to day staff (aka “crew”) activities in support of the desktop productivity tools and services throughout the IT Services lifecycle. Particular focus areas are Incident Management, Problem Management, and Knowledge Management as applicable to CSA. Will maintain asset records in the Remedy Assets Management Module. Will work within the boundaries of Change Management, Release Management, and Configuration Management for all updates to the MDA baseline and standards. Responsible for providing weekly and monthly service level and performance metrics along with trend analysis reports. Will create and maintain processes and procedures in coordination with the Process and Services Owners.
Minimum Education:
Bachelors Degree in Information Technology Management, Computer Science, or another related discipline
Experience:
DoD 8570.1 Certification (Security+, Network+, CISSP, etc.). Must have a working knowledge of the Remedy Action Request System, Windows Operating Systems, Active Directory, and the ITIL service model. At least 8 years of related experience in IT, and 5 years experience in leading and managing technical teams in a demanding, customer-focused environment. Experience leading a team of system administrators in a DoD IT services department with multiple geographic locations. Secret Clearance.

Server Management Team Lead/Manager to support the IT Services organization on the JRDC program. The position is located at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL. Front line manager/team lead responsible for leading MDA Server Management Team responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting and support of hardware, software, and associated tools in a Windows Active Directory (AD) environment. Will be responsible for leading technical team members during project implementation, standard Ops O&M activities, troubleshooting efforts, etc., and guiding Server Management personnel while they solve service issues and fulfill new requirements. Will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures and policies. Will be required to coordinate efforts with other work center leads such as Messaging Services, Core Applications, Integrated Service Desk, and Client Support Administration to resolve Incident Requests and Engineering Change work orders. Position requires support for and communications with VIP customers and the production of scheduled and ad hoc reports and briefings for contractor and Gov't leadership. Additional duties include providing labor and cost estimates and assisting with the management of vendor support agreements.
Minimum Education:
Masters degree in an IT/technical related discipline and at least 10 years of related experience.
Experience:
Extensive experience with Microsoft Windows Server OS (multiple versions), Active Directory, storage technologies, VMware ESX Server, and Data Center best practices. Essential qualifications for a successful candidate include: (1) Excellent leadership ability, (2) strong commitment to a team environment, (3) ability to quickly adapt to new situations, and (4) strong communication skills. At least ten years relevant work experience with Windows Server systems. Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance. Primary duty hours are 0700-1700, Monday - Friday, but must be able to work off shift, on-call and weekend hours as necessary. Occasional travel may be required. Experience in IT service delivery using the ITIL framework is highly desired. Experience using Remedy software (Action Request System) and common scripting platforms (Visual Basic, Perl). UNIX administrative experience. Secret Clearance.
