The MDA’s Integrated Service Desk (ISD) is the primary “first contact” POC for all MDA users requiring IT services. The ISD operates as a virtual service desk with team members located in Colorado Springs, CO and Huntsville, AL using common processes and tools. The common tasks performed by the ISD are user call processing, incident management, service request management, and escalation of higher level incidents and problems to other IT functional teams. The ISD also participates in asset management, change management, and release management. The ISD team is responsible for PC and UNIX account administration. ISD agents gather the information needed to resolve customer issues and provide verbal and remote instruction/assistance to customers, including status updates as needed. The Integrated Service Desk manages customer issues 24x7. All ISD agents should be prepared to work non-standard shifts, including off hours and weekends. These shifts may rotate dependent on the needs of the customer and the ISD team.

Minimum Requirements:
Integrated Service Desk team members must have general PC and Microsoft Office troubleshooting skills and the ability to clearly converse with customers at all levels. ISD agents are polite, respectful, professional, process-oriented and are committed to providing unparalleled customer service. ISD agents must have the following skills and experience demonstrated through a series of customer service and technical questions posed during the interview proces. Active Directory account administration (users and groups), Working knowledge of Windows application features and troubleshooting, Use of collaboration tools (chat, instant meetings, SMS Remote Desktop, Virtual and Computer-Based Training), Basic network troubleshooting, Be able to communicate written and/or verbal situational awareness to management and Government leadership in a concise, professional manner. Description:

The Simulation Engineering and Architecture Task Order is responsible for the development of conceptual models for the Digital Simulation Architecture (DSA). The Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Conceptual Modeling Engineer (MSCME) is responsible for development and maintenance of Simulation Conceptual Models (SCMs) of the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) across M&S venues of Performance Assessment, Ground Test, Pre/Post-Flight Test, Wargaming, Exercises, Training, Element Integration, International, and Planning and Concept Analysis. The MSCME is also responsible for documentation and communication of SCMs across BMDS constituents, including Elements; Components; and distinct functions nominally outside the BMDS but enabling BMD among multiple missions (e.g., the Space-Based Infrared System (SBIRS)). The MSCME advises BMDS M&S users and developers on the content, application, and metrics of BMD System-level SCMs. The MSCME collaborates with BMDS constituent M&S systems engineers and analysts in the development and maintenance of their SCM contributions to promote their completeness, consistency, appropriateness and utility. The MSCME works closely with M&S end users; other M&S stakeholders; and both System and constituent level M&S Requirements Engineers to ensure that system level M&S requirements documented in BMD System-Level M&S Operational Concept Descriptions (MSOCDs) and System/Subsystem Specifications (SSSs) of the MDA M&S Program are addressed through the content of the simulated mission space. The MSCME analyzes legacy M&S and framework software capabilities, which may comprise the majority of Element representations in a System-level venue, to identify M&S implementation constraints that become essential part of the SCM content. The MSCME frequently collaborates with other JRDC Task Orders, such as those involved with M&S products (e.g., DE SIM, BMDS I-SIM); Verification, Validation and Accreditation (VV&A); the Warfighter Support Center (WSC) and Ground Test (GT). The MSCME receives technical and task supervision from the JRDC Chief Scientist. Upon gaining solid experience and contributing to MDA/DES’s mission success, the MSCME may advance to positions of increasing responsibility in M&S Simulation Engineering and Architecture.

Minimum Requirements

The MSCME position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, operations research, computer science or a related field and either an advanced degree in such a field, or demonstrably equivalent professional experience. The position requires excellent oral and written communication skills complementing the MSCME’s strong collaborative traits. A secret clearance is required.

Preferred Requirements

Prefer at least three years Missile Defense, Space or C4ISR experience, and at least five years M&S experience, including significant military simulation development experience. Prefer prior demonstrable experience in developing M&S conceptual models.

Minimum Requirements

Preferred Requirements

Intermediate / Advanced Systems Administrator with experience working in Windows 2000/2003 Active Directory and Exchange 2000/2003 Server within an Enterprise environment. Cluster Experience a plus. The rapid pace of the C2BMC development program requires continual upgrades and evolution of these labs and the supporting environment. The position requires hands-on experience in designing, drawing, connecting, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining local area networks (LANs). Experience with Cisco equipment, PIX and Sidewinder firewalls, WANs, ATM switches, UDP Multicast, and timing systems is highly desirable.

Minimum Requirements
