Candidates should have knowledge of Information Assurance Vulnerability Assessment (IAVA) program. Candidate must have experience in security accreditation procedures, such as DIACAP. This individual should have the ability to develop and staff associated certification and accreditation (C&A) documentation in the DIACAP format, i.e., gather systems information and obtain drawings of the data communication networks and distributed computer systems for the packages. Candidate must be familiar with DOD security policies and procedures. The ability to work as part of an integrated network operations and support team is also required for this position. Candidate must have a working knowledge of data communications and networking capabilities, systems engineering and development lifecycle, and information systems security analysis for new systems/networks. They should be familiarity with applying safeguards for Multi-Level Security (MLS) and Multi-Security Levels (MSL) to include high assurance guards and cross domain solutions. Knowledge of the IAVM program is required for this position. Strong writing and presentation skills required. Identifying IT threats and developing appropriate protection measures, reviewing  system changes for security flaws and recommending improvements, researching and drafting IA white papers, and providing top tier support to the IA operations staff for resolving complex IA issues is also needed.
